The 2008 TCG National Conference was held in conjunction with the 2008 National Performing Arts Convention in Denver, Colorado.
From June 11-14, 2008, 4,000 performing arts professionals converged in Denver, Colorado for Taking Action Together! The 2008 National Performing Arts Convention was a historic opportunity to tackle the issues of the utmost importance to our fields, drawing on the wisdom, experience and combined energy of the entire performing arts community. The convention, produced by an interdisciplinary planning committee from the national service organizations of the performing arts fields, presented major thinkers from the performing arts and beyond in keynote speeches, the best and brightest problem solvers in workshop and breakout sessions, brilliant artists in art-making sessions and ample opportunity for building relationships between arts disciplines.
