Overall Seminar Objectives
As a result of the Seminar, participants will:
1) Be more aware of each participant's personal leadership style and the impact this style may have on others, especially their partner
2) Strengthen the relationship between their partner and themselves
3) Explore how to work collectively with their partner to enhance the leadership for the organization


 

Sunday, February 24


Objectives for Session 1:

  • Build initial awareness of the partnership
  • Generate curiosity and a sense of efficacy about the role in creating that partnership
  • Develop awareness about how the partnership affects the larger organization
  • Begin to build a learning community among the participants

Monday, February 25

Objectives for Session 2 & 3:

  • Understand how individual leadership style is shaped
  • Learn a framework for describing organizational culture
  • Understand their current and future state of culture
  • Determine what is required of the collective leadership entity to change the culture

Objectives for Session 4:

  • Integrate insights from the seminar into a coherent perspective
  • Increase sensitivity about how the partnership is shaped by and is shaping relationships in the larger context (board, donors, artists, community, etc.)
  • Develop strategies for bringing the seminar content to life "back in the organization"
  • Bring closure to the seminar
