What is Expanding the Theatre Manager's Repertoire?
For years, TCG has heard from artistic and management leaders and senior staff that there is an increasingly urgent need in the field for human resources training and professional development opportunities for managers and artists who manage personnel. In response to this need, TCG partnered with Target Corporation in 1998 to create this dynamic program. Building on Target's own human resources training methods, which exemplify the best practices in the corporate sector, this training is specifically tailored for theatre managers. The program was developed with considerable input from a diverse group of artistic and management leaders and senior managers, the program is revised each year in response to participants' evaluations.
