2024 TCG National Conference: Chicago - Discount Opportunities and Policies

Registration for the 2024 TCG National Conference: Chicago is now open!

Some of the discount opportunities outlined below are only available for In-Person Registrations, and many are only available to current TCG Members. Please be sure to read the terms carefully. All discounts are in limited supply and may not be available in perpetuity. Additional discounts will be made available after the Early Bird registration period, but no future discount will render rates lower than the ones currently available.

*Please note: redemption of provided codes is based on the honor system, and TCG screens the use of certain codes before registrations are fully processed. TCG reserves the right to revoke a discount if redeemed inappropriately, at which point you will be charged the appropriate amount, notified, and may choose to cancel your registration with no penalty.

Early Bird Discount Rate (for either virtual or in-person registration):

EARLY BIRD registration rates are available to TCG members only, and are automatically applied as your default in-person or virtual registration rate once you are logged into the TCG website. Early bird rates expire on February 9th, 2024!

Please note that this year TCG has a LATE BIRD registration rate, our highest member rate, which is also automatically applied according to the timeline of availability provided on the main registration info page.

Single Day Rate

This year TCG is introducing single day rates as an in-person registration option. The $175 rate is applicable to members and non-member and is available through June 7, 2024. The single day rate is available as a registration option and does not require a code. It cannot be applied to more than one chosen conference day by a registrant, and you will have to select which conference day for which you want to register. This rate is not available virtually. Inheritor (30 and under | In-Person or Virtual)

Theatre practitioners age 30 and under are eligible for a 40% discount off current registration rates for either modality. You must be a current TCG Individual Member or an unsponsored full-time employee at a TCG Member Theatre to take advantage of this code. This offer cannot be used in combination with other discounts. Trailblazer (Pre-TCG | In-Person or Virtual)

TCG was founded in 1961. If you were born before TCG (ie. 1960 or earlier), you are eligible for a 40% discount off current registration rates for either modality. You must be a current TCG Individual Member or an unsponsored full-time employee at a TCG Member Theatre to take advantage of this code. This offer cannot be used in combination with other discounts. Teen Councils (sponsored groups of high school age students | In-person only)

Groups of students 18 and under formally affiliated with a TCG Member Theatre are welcome to register, along with 1 chaperone per 5 teens, at 40% off the current registration rate. This offer cannot be used in combination with other discounts. To take advantage of this group rate, please email [email protected] for assistance.

Virtual Student Groups (sponsored groups of university or postgraduate students + professors | Virtual only)

Groups of students (welcome to register, along with 1 professor or teaching artist per 5 students, at 50% off the current registration rate. This offer cannot be used in combination with other discounts. TCG Membership status is not required. To take advantage of this group rate, please email [email protected] for assistance.

If you represent a non-member organization, but are interested in becoming one before registering for the conference, please email [email protected] for assistance.

If you represent a BITOC (Theatre of Color) that is not currently a member of TCG, but is interested in joining us this year, we can provide more information on our conference programming and registration. Please email [email protected] for assistance.

If you are an unaffiliated theatre practitioner, becoming a TCG Individual Member is the best way to take advantage of Conference discounts, as many discounts are only available to members. Those joining TCG for the purposes of attending the Conference are eligible for a $25 one-year TCG Individual Membership (50% off). Once you’ve purchased your membership, you’ll be able to register for the conference using the member rates and any applicable member discounts.
